Carob as cosmetic ingredient

Carob - known as Ceratonia Siliqua Gum is the ground seed of the ripe fruit of St. John's Bread, Ceratonia siliqua (Locust bean), Leguminosae.

• It is used in the formula of our pure and natural Olinat cosmetic cream.

It is used in skin care cream as it has an emollient effect, help with emulsion stabilizing, film forming and controlling the viscosity of the formula.

  • A highly nourishing and soothing oil – actually a wax ester – obtained from the seeds of the desert shrub Simmondsia chinensis.

  • A highly emollient oil from Sesamum indicum
